Privacy Policy.

This policy covers the Askors marketing website at askors.com. Askors is in development and is not yet open for real reservations, so this page describes a short list of things, and we would rather be precise than exhaustive.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of the two forms on this site. We do not ask you to create an account, and there is nothing to log into here.

• Launch notification list. Your email address, and the fact that it came from this website.
• Restaurant partner interest. Your name, work email, restaurant name, city or location, your restaurant’s website or Instagram, and anything you choose to write in the optional description field.

Both forms include a hidden field that real people never fill in. It exists to catch automated spam, and submissions that fill it are discarded.

Why we collect it

• To email you once when Askors becomes available, if you asked to be notified.
• To review your restaurant and follow up directly about the Askors pilot, if you submitted the partner form.

We do not sell this information, and we do not use it to send unrelated marketing.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database that only Askors can read. They are written by this website’s own server, not from your browser, and the tables are not readable through any public API. This website is hosted on Vercel.

Cookies and analytics

This site stores one value in your browser: your answer to the privacy preferences dialog, so we do not ask again on every visit. It is kept in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to us.

We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and understand which pages people reach. It is configured not to use cookies and does not build a profile of you across other websites.

If we ever add anything optional, it will load only after you allow it in the privacy preferences dialog, which you can reopen at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

The product demo

The demo linked from this site is a separate Askors application. It runs on sample data and does not create a real reservation at a real restaurant. The recordings on the homepage were made with demo data — no real guest, payment, or reservation is shown.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. For the notification list, deletion means we remove your email and will not contact you when Askors opens. Email hello@askors.com and we will take care of it.
